A settlement of the trouble on the Maitland mines, where 10,000 men are idle in connection with the readjustment of the duties of deputies, has not been completed yet. The men announced their willingness to resume to-morrow. The mine owners replied that the pits would not be opened till they had considered the position. It is understood they wid hold a meeting to-morrow, whereafter an early resumption is expected. PARIS, March 20. President Doumergue has accepted an invitation from King George to visit London on May 16, 17 and 18.
