From inquiries made yesterday aftcinoon, it was ascertained that a deputation will wait upon Councillor L Gunnion on Thursday, evening ioi purpose of obtaining ‘ his consent to allow himself to he nominated fot the Mayoralty. The sitting Mayor (Mr G. B, Cartwright) lias already decided to contest ■ the seat.

Hull, and none of tho fervour of the original story has been lost in the film. Some of the notables in the supporting cast are Agnes Ayres, Montagu Love, George Fawcett, and Bill Montana.
