AVELLINGTON PROPERTY DEAL. By Telesraph—Press Associstlon. AVELLINGTON, March 18. A business and property transaction in Lainbtcu Quay involving approximately £400.000, in which ilie the Bristol Piano Co., and AV. J. Littlejohn and Son, are concerned, has just been completed The price pant by the D.I.C. for the Bristol Piano Co.’s property was £45,000, and based on the Lambton Quay frontage, works out at about £IOOO a foot, the highest price yet for Lambton Quay frontage The transaction gives the D.I.C. an unbroken frontage to Lambton Quay between Johnson and Panama Streets. The price paid by the Bristol to Littlejohns is in vhe vicinity ot £62,000.
