The largest is the Watanabe Bank, which attributes its disastrous run to the Finance Minister’s premature disclosure of the bank’s predicament dining the Budget discussion on the Government’s relief for banks, holding the 1926 earthquake bills, amounting) to 2,000,000 yen.
