THE “RIALTO.” 11. Allchurch and Co. report for the week ended March 12th:— At our weekly “Rialto” sale on Friday, we had a good entry ol poultry and pigs, 50 pens of poultry being entered, while 30 pigs of various grades were yarded. Brices realised were as follows : Poultry.—Hens, heavy os to US 6d, others* 2s 9d to 4s; cockerels, heavy 5s Gd to 8s 9d, others 2s 6d to 4s 3d; roosters, 2s to 4s; ducks, 7s. A line of young hens realised 9s Pa pi’gs.— Weanors, 12s, 14s Gd and 17e each; slips, 28s 6d, 24s and 26s Produce.—Wheat, to 22s 6d; oate, 10s to 12s Gd; barley, 13s; potatoes, to 12s; bacon (rolls), to Is Id lb; bran, 1201 b bags, 12s; honey (bulk), 5d lb; onions, 6s 6d per cental. Fruit.—Freestone peaches, Jd to 4* lb; j ■•ctariiies, 3i<J to f.d ; pilums. ljd to 2d; Cbristchur‘ti i<'mi»to-s, 2-Jd to sd, poorer quality lid lb; apples, cookers ljd to 2d; blackberries, 4d to 7d. Eggs.—Moderate supplies or eggfl arc coming to baud, and are meeting with a very ready demand. The market is firmer, supplies realising 2s 3d dozen. , _ .. Furniture and effects.—On Friday, at our rooms, we disposed of a fair quantity of furniture and effects, at satisfactory prices. Clearing Scale.—On Thursday, we held a clearing sale, on account of Miss Brown, and another, when almost a total clearance was effected, at satisfactory prices.
