STRANGE STORY FROM MELBOURNE. By Cable—Press Association—-Copyright. Australian and N.Z, Cable Association. MELBOURNE, January 21. A three-year-old boy, Robert Murray Bovd. died at the Prince Alfred Hospital from the effects of poison. When the boy readied home lie told his mother, who lives at Richmond, that an imkiunvnpnan had stopped him and asked him if he wanted a drink. Tlie’man then ’handed tlie boy a Jems onadg bott'e. The boy became ill and was removed to hospital. A post mortem examination reveals that the hoy’s mouth and throat were burned, oossibly by spirits of salts.
