BUSH FIRES.
RAGING IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA. By Cable —Press Association —Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. ADELAIDE, January 21. Bush fires, fanned by a high wind, are sweeping Lyudoch, Mount Crawford, and Eden Valley, where the fodder crop is one of the heaviest known. The fir e passed within two miles of Williamstown, where it was temporarily checked. The wind then changed, and the lire divided into two spits, and the flames (rot out of hand. At sunset tho wind dropped, and it is anticipated that the outbreak will be extinguished. The damage totals many thousands sterling.
