CARRUTHERS.—On 21st January, at Petone, Beryl, the dearly beloved and eldest daughter of Laura and tho late W. J. Carruthers; aged 18 (formerly of Timaru),. Deeply regretted.
YOUNG.—On January 21st, at his residence, Russell Square, Timaru, James, the beloved husband of Grace Young; aged 86 years. Deeply regretted. Private interment.
