ROYAL VISIT.

DUKE AND DUCHESS OF YORK, ' ARRANGEMENTS COMPLETE. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, January ID. Arrangements for tile conveyance of tile Duke and Duchess of York throughout New Zealand during their approaching tour have been completed, and it is now possible to give some indication of the time that is likely to be' spent at the various places ot call and a description of the programme. Their Royal Highnesses will arrive in Auckland on February 22, and after spending a. day in the Queen City will proceed to Russell, arriving tilery on the morning of February 24 for deep sea lishing. On February 26 they will return to Auckland on the Renown, and proceed by rail, their first train journey in the Dominion, to Rotorua, where they wifi arrive at about 5.30 p.mSunday, February 27, will be spent in the thermal district and on Monday, after attending the Native gathering, the Royal visitors will motor to Taupo and travel thence to the lishing camp at Tokaanu. They will be at the camp on March I and the following afternoon they will leave for the National Park, where they are to join the Royal train. A night journey will he made to New Plymouth, wlieie the train is due ac about 9 a.m. on March 3. After the civio weicomo Hie party will return by rail to Wanganui, thence to. Palmerston North, with short stops at Stratford and Hawera. On March 4 a train trip will be made from Palmerston North to Napier, with short stops at Pannovirke and Hastings, arriving at Napier at 3.15 p.m. The Royal party will leave th© following morning for Wellington via Wairarapa, short stops being made at Woodvill© and Masterton. Wellington will be reached on the night of Margh 5, and the visitors will remain in (ho capital until the evening of March 8, when they will join th© Renown and leave early the following morning for Pieton. Blenheim will next be visited, after which the party' will motor to NelsonThey will leave Nelson on the morning of March 10, lunch at Murchison, and stay’ the'night at Westport. At about 9.30 a.m. on March 11 they will leave Westport for Greymouth, join the train at Tnnngahua Junction and proceed direct to Hokitika and return to Greymouth. Tt is understood that Mrs T. E. Y. Seddon has made her residence at Greymouth available for the reception of the Royal visitors there.

Leaving Greymouth on the morning of Saturday, March 12, the party’ will arrive at Christchurch at about 5 p.m. and spend Sunday. Monday and' Tuesday in the Cathedral City. On Wednesday, March 16. they are to leave for Dunedin by special train, and short stops will be mac’e at Ashburton, Timaru and Onmaru, Dunedin will bo reached at about 6.30 p.m.-and the visitors will Tsmain. there until the Saturday, when they will proceed bv train to Cromwell, and thence by motor via Lakes Hawera and Wanaka to Pembroke, where the night and following day wilt he spent. On Monday. March 21, they will motor from Pembroke to Queenstown and remain I here for the night. They will depart from Queenstown at about 9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 22. for Pilaff. 4n hour will be spent at. Gore, and about an hour and a half at Invercargill. The same evening the party will reim'n the Renown, anchored off StewartIsland- and sad for Australia.
