Swimming in the Auckland championships to-night Miss Gladys Pidgeon lowered the Australasian 220 yards ladies’ breast .. stroke record, fyom 3ipin. 40sec, to ’3min.. 3 5 3-ss.eCs. ■ • The previous record was shared by Misses Pidgeon and Ettie Robertson, of Sydney. In tlie 100 yards intermediate girls’ championship, Miss Doris Magee lowered by 2-ssec the Dominion record of 69 1-5 sec, held by Miss M. Farquahar. Miss Ena Stockley Avon the 10 0 yards ladies’'event in 6Ssec, after a great race Avith Miss Farquahar. A. D. Adamson Avas first in the 100 yards men’s, from J. Enwright and L. Fairgray (dead heat). Time, 69 2-ssecs. A. E. Baird Avon the 220 yards men’s in 2min. 4 osec., Avith ease.
