Fairlic-, was Die scene oi a charming wedding on ue.sday, December 28, when Eileen youngest daughter of Air and Airs John 1 rotter, “Coulmore” Fairlie, was married to William, youngest .son of Airs and the late Dr Hudson, of Tapawera Nelson. ’ The church had been prettilv decorated by friends of the bride, * the officiating minister being the Rev. C. AY. W ilcox. The bride, escorted by her father, entered the church to the strains of the Bridal Alarch, played by Air F. C. Alartin. She wore a beautiful model frock of ivory georgette, with silver. A dainty lace vifil, arranged with sprays of orange blossom at either side of the head, and a shower bouquet of white lilies, roses, and maiden-hair completed a charming ensemble.

She was attended by two bridesmaids, Aiiss Kay Louie, cousin of the bride, and Aliss Alav Cruickshank, both wearing dainty frocks of floral georgette, the former patterned in shades of orange and apricot. They wore coronets of velvet flowers to tone and earned beautiful bouquets and deep yellow ref.es and maidenhair fern. Doth wore the bridegroom's gift—a string of pearls. Air Harry Lucena was best man, and Air Alec Learmonth groomsman: both of Arapuni, Waikato, where the bridegroom is also .stationed.

Alter the ceremony, the guests adjourned to “Coulmore,” where they were received by the bride’s parents, Airs Trotter wearing a becoming frock of black crepe de chine, heavily embroidered in geld and oriental colourings. AYitli ibis were worn a black ottoman silk coat and black hat, and her bouquet was in tones of deep yellow. The bridegroom’s mother was attired in black satin, relieved with white, and black hat, and a bouquet of deep red roses.

After a dainty morning tea had been partaken of, and the usual toasts honoured. lhe happy couple left by ear for tho north, ‘ amidst showers of confetti. Afrs Hudson travelled in an ensemble £.uit of mushroom coloured cloth, with, rd bon hat to jpatch.

TEA! PL E—CHAP Ar AN. A very pretty wedding took place yesterday in St. Alark's unurch, Otipua, when Eisie, daughter of Airs E. Palmer Chapman Salisbury), was married by the Rev. H. A. Wilkinson to Richard Temple, only son of Air and Airs A. L. 'temple (ToKomaru Bay). The church was decorated with delphiniums and roses, and on tho altar were Christmas lilies. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Air George Chapman, wore a beautiful frock of draped cream georgette, and a veil of old lace held in place with a bandeau of pearls. She carried a bouquet of tea roses tied with silver ribbons.

Aliss Peggy Chapman, chief bridesmaid, was in pale apricot georgette, with panels of georgette hanging from the shoulders, and a big georgette and velvet rose; her hat was of chinoline straw of the same shade, and her bouquet was of pale apricot roses. The small bridesmaid, Atolly Barker, wore cream georgette with apnuot coloured ribbons on the shoulders, and a wreath of copper coloured leaves; her bouquet was also of pale apricot roses. Air Frank Scrcoinbe was best man.

The reception was held at Salisbury, and the tables in the marque were charmingly arranged with Shirley poppies. Airs Chapman wore black knife pleated chiffon, apron and cape of black lace, and a large black crinoline straw hat wi th grey feather mount; her bouquet was of mauve scabious and phaieiterum. Airs A. L. Temple was in a black marocain and silver grey ensemble suit, with a black hat trimmed with black and white pansies. ■ Aliss Temple wore coffee coloured georgette with knife pleated; skirt and a lint with pink and white flowers. '
