MINIATURE RIFLE CLUB BALL.

On Tuesday evening the Miniature Rifle. Club held their annual ball and tho presentation of medals and trophies won during the past season. There was a good attendance. The hull was tastefully decorated with coloured streamers. The floor was in good order for dancing. Extras were played by Misses South (2), and Messrs 1). Campbell and V. Priddle. Air F. Priddle carried out the. duties of M.C. A cake guessing competition was won by Mr J. Baker.

; Before supper, Alt' R. Afaddren, president of the Aliniaturc Rifle Club, j said they had met to present the i trophies to the winners fluring the i past season. Air Afaddren stated the j club had started the season with a ! membership of 2(i, and finished up the , season with the membership increased jto 4k. There had been some excellent I shooting during the later part of tho ] season. A. Scott in particular lnttT 1 done very well in the championship. ; He thanked the donors of prizes and ; also those who had assisted the club j during the past year.
