RECONCILIATION OF RUMANIAN ROYALTIES. By C*bl*—-Press Association —Copyright Australian and &Z. Cable Association (Received October 13, 5.5 p.m.) PARIS, October 12. Tho public reconciliation of Crown Prince Carol and Queen Marie of Rumania is reported.. The Queen, surrounded by her suite, Was leaving Saint Lazare station for America, when a fair-haired young man pushed through tho crowd, seized the Queen’s hand, and kissed it passionately. The Queen was startled, but then recognised her own son. After a momentary hesitation, tho Queen took him in her arms and embraced him, fervently weeping. People on the platform discreetly withdrew, allowing the reconciliation to become complete. Though it was earlier understood the Queen had forbidden Prince Carol to visit her, the Queen looked extremely happy when she left to join the Leviathan. It is understood the reconciliation does not at present affect Prince Carol’s renunciation of his right of succession.
