SCHOOLBOY IMMIGRANTS.
SCHEME WORKING SUCCESSFULLY. By Teleeraph—x"ress Association NEW PLYMOUTH, October S. Mr R. S. Abrahams, Palmerston North, lion. sec. of the Association of Public Schools of Great Britain, has been on visit of inspection of English public school boys brought out under the Taranaki Chamber of Commerce scheme. Mr Abraham found complete harmony and understanding between the boys apd the farmers training them, and was unable to find any discordant notes among the boys visited. “Not on your life” was the reply ol one boy to a query whether lie would like to go back to England. This was the general view, whilst in every case the fanner was fully alive-to his responsibility, and satisfied that the boy would mane good. The boys expressed appreciation of all that had boon done for them, and the fatherly interest manifested in their welfare by members of the organisation set up by the Chamber of Commerce.
