The spectacle of Larry Thomas roaring round lirooklands at two miles a minute, hour after hour, in a successful endeavour to restore the records won by France, thrilled liund reds. After six hours Thomas left tlie car considerably fatigued, having broken three records, namely 500 miles, by ssee., 1509 kilometres by Osec., also the three hours’ record by a margin of seconds.
