A meeting of all interested in the work of the league of Nations will be held in the Borough Council Chambers at 4.30 this afternoon. A branch of the League of Nations Union is being formed in Timaru, and it is hoped to appoint a strong executive and make arrangements for addresses by leading public men. It is not unlikely that the first speaker to Visit Timaru at the invitation of the local branch of the League of Nations Union, will be Sir James Allen (former High Commissioner).
