In a representative hockey match this afternoon, played on a slippery ground, Canterbury defeated Nelson by four goals to nil. In the first spell the local team had considerably the best of the game, but in the second half tlie visitors were superior. For tho winners goals were scored by Goffey (2), 'Williamson and Bell.
