FALL HAS FATAL RESULTS. iiy 'i'cJct Press Association. AUCKLAND; June 23. Severe head injuries were sustained by E. S. Postlewaight, au employee at •• •>*..» mu osierday afternoon, when he slipped from a stack of sugar , and fell a distance of 12 feet. A launch was requisitioned, and the injured man was brought to Auckland. An operation was performed, Tut he succumbed at 4 o’clock this morning in hospital.
GORED BY BULLOCK. WANGANUI, June 23. A middle-aged man named Lancaster, k seaman on the s.s. Gale, was badly gored by a bullock while cattle were being loaded on to the ship to-night.
