OBITUARY.
MRS WILLIAM HENDERSON
One of the oldest identities of Oran, Mrs \V Henderson sour., .passed, away !on June 12th.' The late; Mrs Hender- ■ son was born in Aberdeen, Scotland, in 18-14, and came to New .«ca and with her husband (the late. Mr W dhoni Henderson) and four children m loan landing in Timaru from the old suit boats. Thcv settled in Orari, and lived there until her death. Of a family of eleven, five sons survive her—- \ ‘William and John (Orari), David ! (Opihi), Robert (Hastings), and Alexander (headmaster Inglewood School). Ror Imsband predeceased her by twenty-three- years. The funeral took place at Gera'dinc. Mr J. Anderson i (Orari) conducted the services at the 1 house and graveside. Four ‘grandsons. , Messrs John, James, William, and Arthur Henderson, were the pail- | bearers.
