PLEASED WITH RECEPTION. The Indian Army team silent a. busy forenoon yesterday visiting various places of interest in Temuka. district. They acre accompanied by the Mayor and members of the entertainment committee. The party inspected the Insulator Works, Dairy Factory, and the Boys’ Home. Last evening there was a very large crowd at the railway station to give the visitors a send-oIL Captain Cowan, M.C., officer in chargo of the team, asked the Mayor to convey to the members of the committee and the public in general his keen appreciation of the splendid manner in which the party had been received in Temuka. The arrangements made for the comfort ot bo th officers and men were admirable, and lie had nothing but admiration for the excellent condition of the field of play, and also for the sporting proclivities of the crowd. The visit to Teniiiika would.be a. pleasant memory to every member of the party.
