PREMIERSHIP COMPETITION. OLD BOYS AND ZINGARI BEATEN. Unusual weather conditions for midwinter ruled on Saturday, when the Rugby competitions were continued in all divisions. Early in the afternoon a warm and strong nor’-wester prevailed, but about 4 p.m. this dropped and the wind veered to north and .abated considerably. On the No. I ground, Star playing with the wind, gained a load of C points at half-time, ■■ and added to it early in the second spell.
