In common with the other districts in South Canterbury, Tcmuka has been greatly inconvenienced by the failure of the Lake Coleridge current. The president stated that good progress was being made with the new Library, Rest Room and. llunket Rooms, and there was the matter, ot the foundation stone t© be considered. After some discussion,- it was agreed that Mr -Burnett b© asked to.lay the foundation stone on Thursday, .June 94th Mr Burnett was communicated with’ at Cave, and he consented to perform the ceremony. .
