BERLIN, Juno 10. 11l Lite Reichstag,, in submitting a Compromise Bill on the question of the property of the,forms- rulers, the Chancellor (Dr. Marx) declared that the demand for confiscation without compensation was agninsv. the principles of a legal State, and against the Constitution, which conferred on all citizens equai rights. Tho Chancellor added that if the plebiscite resulted in the negative, tho Government would do it.s utmost to reach a settlement in the spirit of the compromise Bill, and would not hesitate to take the consequences if it wore impossible for tho Reichstag to reach an agreement.
. A Centre Deputy, on behalf of the. Government parties, approved tho Bill. The Socialist, Herr Moollen, attacked President Hindenlnm; regarding the recent letter opposing expropriation without compensation, saving, that President ITindonlnirg was guilty of unconstitutional partisanship.
