On Thursday, 24th June, at the Manse, Pleasant Point, A. N. Oakey and Co. will hold a sale of furniture and effects on account of the Rev. G. P. Falconer. Particulars are advertised.

This Sunday is the second Sunday in connection With the Church Rally being held in Timaru, under the auspices of the Timaru Ministers’ Association. The reports from the churches and the Salvation Army foi last Sunday’s services were most I gratifying. Members of all the Christian congregations made an extra effort, and this Sunday the organisers are going to theii efforts so that everyone shall get an invitation to the House of God. Last Sunday two churches were hard put. to find room for the splendid congregations that attended, and each of the other members of the Ministers’ Association rejoiced, and trust that last Sunday is only a forerunner of what the other three Sundays of the month are to he. This week the ministers of all churches and the captain of the Salvation Army plead with all men to bring their wives and children to worship. A hearty welcome will he extended to all men and women. Remember the call is to you and you are wanted to come. Be sure and read all church and Salvation Army notices in the "Herald” this morning.
