“THE RIALTO.” IV. Allehureli and Co. report for the week ended Junes 5. , , At our weekly “Rialto” sale on Triday we had a good entry of poultry and pigs. Prices realised were as follows. Poultry hens, heavy—3s fid, 4s 6d, others 2s 9d to 3s 3d, coekerels-heavy 5s 3d to 6s 3d, roosters 4s to 6s, ducks 5s to 5s (xl all, at per pair. A line of pullets realised 10s (kt per pair. Pigs.—Weaners 17s to 18s and 20s Gd each, suckers 12s to 13s each. Produce.—Wheat 15s to 235, potatoes 12s to 14s, swedes to 5s 5d per sack, potatoes 3s Sd per sack, bran 12s per 12011) bag, bacon (rolls and sides) to 10) per lb, honey 60 lbs tins 6)d per lb., onions 15s per cental, parsnips 2s to 3s per kit. A line of special seed potatoes, including Epicure from Southland, realised iron) 23d to 3d per lb. Fruit.—Apples dessert 8s tkl case, cookers 4s to 6d case; pears 2s to 3s half case. A lino of over-ripe cooking pears realised from Is to Is Gd per case. Bananas 22s Gd case, oranges 15s case.

Eggs.— Moderate supplies of Circle Eggs are coming to hand, and are meeting with a keen demand, the price for the week being 3s per dozen. Preserved are now coming to hand, more freely. Furniture and effects. —On Friday at “The Rialto” we disposed of a lair quantity of furniture and effects at satisfactory prices, Several sales were effected privately during the week. Properly Department.—We have to report good business in this Department in town properties.
