The managers of the Tcmuka Presbyterian Church have derided to erect a memorial tablet in memory ot the late Rev. diaries Macdonald, ALA., who was pastor of tlio church for twenty years. It .is not definitely decided, but in all probability tho memorial will take the form of a brass tablet, similar to that erected to the memory of the late -G. Barclay. PERSONAL. Mr it; Lee, director, and Air C. Harrison, secretary of .the 'lemuka. Dairy Co., left Tcmuka yesterday as delegates to the South island Dairy Conference, which will he held in Dunedin this week. i Aliss Elbe Cross, of Tcmuka, left oil 'Monday for Melbourne. Aliss Greig, of AYaihi, lias been appointed to the vacancy in tho 'Tcmuka. District High School staff caused by the resignation of Aliss Joan Alnnscll: Air Harper, of Timaru, is filling the position temporarily. Aliss Beatrice Eagle and Aliss Alnggie Hopkinson, Tcmuka, who had been spending their term holidays at their homes, returned to the Christchurch Training College on Alonday. At a meeting of the Clandobovo Farmers’ Union held last evening, I Afcssrs Staniland and Pemberton were [ appointed delegates to represent the branch at the annual conference, to bo held in Timaru to-day.
