The animal meeting of householders drew a record attendance. _ The proposal to include the Alakikihi School in the AVaimate Junior High School scheme was discussed at length, and a resolution was carried unanimously protesting against the proposal, in the opinion of those present the Jaiii,e amount of travelling necessary would not be in the .best interests of the children. , , , The following committee was e cctcu for the yearAfessrs G. At the annual meeting of householders there was a small iittcnduncc, and the old committee, consisting of Messrs T. E. Hide (chairman), H. 1Brosnahnn (secretary), E. J. Edgar, AV. F. Kennedy, and B. H. Hewson, were rc-clectcd.
