FOSSIL BONES.
INTERESTING FIND IN AUSTRALIA. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Cabla Association. SYDNEY, March 17. An important discovery of a large quantity of fossilised bones, of many species, is reported from the Wellington Caves. They include a portion of a jawbone supposedly belonging to the Di-protodon Australia, a huge extinct, animal unrelated to any living animal, but standing between kangaroos and wombats and also probably bones of Australia * remarkable marsupial lion.
