Union Co.’s steamer Waikouaiti arrived yesterday morning from LyttgHon, and berthed at No. 2 wharf, iffie vessel commenced her discharge of coal and general cargo yesterday, and should sail to-day for return to Sydney, after loading return cargo. T-Tho Calm called at Timaru yesterday from the north, and after discharging general cargo, proceeded to Bluff irv-tke afternoon. The vessel ■is expected back on Saturday, to Joadi for Wellington and Wanganui. •ijt is expected that the Gale will new arrive to-day from Oarnaru, to lead for Wellington ?nd _ Wanganui. She should be despatched in the evenilia for Lyttelton. ••The Union Co. advise that the Katoa lihs been put back a day, and is now listed to arrive on Thursday.morning from the south, to load for Wellington and Auckland. ' - \ •, •. Tlie Holmdale has been delayed m dock at Port Chalmers, and. will not now call at Timaru this trip. Her place will be taken by tbe John, which is expected on Saturday from Oarnaru, to load for Wellington, Picton and Wanganui. Scheduled to arrive bn Saturday from Lyttelton, the overseas steamer Inkula is to discharge general cargo from America at Timaru. The Opihi is due about Tuesday from Onmaru, to load for Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth. The Sbaw Savill and Albion liner Corintliic is set down to call at this' port about April 23, from Port Chal'iffefs, to load frozen meat, wool and general cargo for the United Kingdom.' OVERSEAS.
