SCULLING.
BARRY LIKELY CHALLENGER. By Cubic — Press Association—Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association LONDON, December 13. Ernest Barry has received a cabled challenge from Major Goodsell to row for the world’s championship on the .Paramatta Ttiver, for £SOO aside, or from Putney to Mortlake, if reasonable expenses are allotted. British scullers are of opinion that as Barry was champion on the Parramatta in 1920, and Australians participated m several contests locally since then, Major Goodsell ought to waive the expenses and come and row on the Thames.
