MR LLOYD GEORGE’S CAMPAIGN.

Mr Lloyd George, speaking at Leeds, indignantly denied that lie started the land campaign for the purpose of regaining office. He took up the work because he desired to spend the rest of his life in the service of the people from which he sprung. The Liberal Party was not an invalid 1 stuffed witli past glories, but a great organisation capable of shattering the canker of the land monopoly, which created slums, whose pestilential pits poisoned thousands yearly.
