Mr J. G. Gow returned to Timaru from Christchurch on Saturday. Sir Heaton Rhodes (Minister of DefenceT passed through Timaru on Saturday, for .Dunedin. Mr W. D. Campbell and Mr A. E, Laurence returned to Timaru from Wellington on Saturday. Mr E. J. Rolleston, M.P., and Mr T. D. Burnett, M.P., returned to Timaru from ’Wellington on Saturday. Mr J. Bitchcner, M.P., passed through Timaru on Saturday on his re- * turn from Wellington to his homo at Hook.

Mr T. K. Sidey, Mr P. A. de la Perrollo and Mr J. Horn, M.P.’a, were passengers by Saturday’s express for the south. Revs. K. Andrews-Baxter. G. V. Gerard, and E. Osmers, of St. Mary’s parish, will leave to-day to attend a special session of the Anglican Synod at Christchurch.
