Latest Interesting Discovery, PRESENCE OF ATMOSPHERE CLAIMED. ft/ Cttblft ■ Frege Association—GopjrlgM, Australian and N.Z. Cable Association (Received June 18, 6.5 pan.) VANCOUVER, June 17. Dr. A. F. Douglas, Director of the Univensity of Arizona Observatory, speaking at a meeting of the Pacifio Division of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, held at Portland (Oregon), stated that the photographs lie made of Mars, indicate considerable atmosphere on the planet, 'the markings of which green signified vegetation. The actual temperature had been measured and found to be between the ranges conducive to life. This was the most important and latest of discoveries.
