CABINET UNFAVOURABLE TO REDUCTION. By Cable —Press Association —Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. LONDON, June 17. The Rt. Hon. W. E. Guinness (Financial Secretary to the Treasury), in the House of Commons, said that in view of the congestion on the Imperial cable, it was a matter for grave consideration whether until cable facilities had been increased or wireless provided it would be justifiable to adopt the proposed Press rate reduction.
