THE WEATHER.
Mr F. L. V/ooies. Wind, variable breezes, moderate to freesh southerly ruling; weather fair to cloudy and cold, inclined to be unsettled soon. Dominion Meteorologist. Present indications are for variable winds, but moderate to strong easterlies prevailing northwards of New Plymouth, and north-east to south-west winds elsewhere; weather fair to cloudy generally, but changeable and showery in the southern districts. The barometer unsteady but rising again soon.
