THE FUSION CONFERENCE. r»y Telegraph—l’rcsa Association. WELLINGTON, June 18. The commit too for the Reform and Liberal parties sat at Parliament House tins afternoon to discuss fusion, but no result has yet been reached. The Reform representatives were Messrs J. A. Young, T. D. Burnett, W. J. Girling, and O. Hawken. Hie Liberals were Messrs R. Masters, W. A. Yeitch, G. Forbes, and A. J. Murdoch. The conference was commenced at 2.30 p.m., and sat for about three hours, when it was announced that an adjournment till to-morrow had been made. No information was available beyond a statement that the proceedings had been marked by the utmost goodwill on both sides.
