LATE MR. C. N. ORBELL.
AGRICULTURAL AND PASTORAL, ASSOCIATION. MEETING ADJOURNED. The monthly meeting of the Timaru Agricultural and Pastoral Association, to have been held yesterday afternoon, was adjourned as a mark of respect to the late Air C. N. Orbell. . Tho president (Air J. it. r. Cameron), in expressing Ills sincere rem-ct at the death ot Air Orbell, said he” hud taken a life-long interest in the Association ,and was one of the oldest members. He moved that the Association place oil record the invaluable service, extending over a period of 50 years, rendered by tlio late Air Orbell to the Association; also that overv svmpathv be expressed to Mrs Orbed and family in their bereavement. In seconding the inot’on.Mr H. Lowry said that all he could say would not ho tribute enough to Mr Orbell, who had ever taken a live interest m tho Association, and who was always willing to do anything .at any time. The motion was carried in silence, after which the meeting adjourned.
