Cable Association ' LONDON, April 27, Mr Dobbie, president of the-National Union of Raiiwaymen, speaking i at Hacknall, predicted an early crisis and an unparalleled situation in the railway world. V He said the men would present to the companies the first programme of minimum conditiohs ever demanded, including all workers ih Great Britain. He further predicted that the companies would reject the programme. The companies complained they woujd have to pay dividends! out of reserve funds/ but it WaS better to pay wages out bf reserve than pay dividends to those who do not work.
