Citizens’ Association decided At their last committee -meeting to the following questions to (the Candidates for. the Hospital Board:— ( (a) Wil-l you do all in your,power if elected to redpce. the maternity fees to £3 3s per week? (b) Will .you endeavour to have a Maternity’ District 'Nurse engaged for Timaru to attend maternity cases in the home? j , Mrs Unwin; Messrs Jones and Griffiths have replied “Yes” to both questions. * " The Rev. T. Wf Potts replies: * Noll. The' only honest and considered answer to voiir first question is in the negative. , : '-No; 2. My answer to your second question iS unreservedly “Yes.” Mrs Redmond replied: No. 1. l. think, yopr Association will .agree' that .there is no hardship, ,as eacn case, receives the greatest sympathy and consid.eration.
