FATAL COLLISION Early on Sunday evening a lad of 16 named William Ihgmas Robinson Benn, son of Mr A. E. Benn, of ltapuwai, Pleasant Point, was cycling along the Tengawai Road in company with Alexander William Borrell, when ho collided with another cyclist, receiving injuries .to his head. Ho was attended by Dr. Milne, of Plcasunt Point. Tho injuries did not appear to be of a serious nature. On being taken to his homo tho injured lad was put to bed, and appeared to bo progressing favourably. Towards 2 a.m. he became worse, dying before a doctor could be summoned. THE INQUEST. Tho District Coroner (Mr E. D. Mosley) presided at the inquest, held in the resklenco of Mr Borrell, Pleasant Point, yesterday afternoon. : Aftpr hearing- -tho evidence, the Coroner returned a verdict in accord with the medical evidence, to tho effect that deceased met liis death as a result of secondary haemorrhage of tho brain, caused by accident.
