CONFERENCE BETWEEN GROWERS AND MINISTER. MILLERS OFFER ADVANCE OF FIVEPENCE PER BUSHEL. The. wheat-growers’, representative© have agreed to recommend strongly to, their branches that the' offer of the millers bo accepted. .•• •. , Thu millers have, determined cm prices as follows£l6 per ton for flour f.0.b.,. in the South Island; not to ex-, ceod £8 pci- ton for bran f.0.b., South Island ; and not to exceed £9 per ton for pollard f.0.b., South Island. The duty on bran and pollard from Australia is to be reduced' from £2 10s to £1 per ton.
