VERDICT OF MANSLAUGHTER,

At tlie trial of Alfred Solomon, charged with stabbing Buck Eiiden, at the Eden Social Club, in Tottenham Court road district, evidence was given that Blitz (alias Eiiden) and Emmanuel quarrelled. The latter threw beer ovet Blitz, who retaliated with liis glass, cutting Emmanuel’s head ■Acidised, wild, was a frieiid of Emmanuel, seized a carving knife, and drove it deeply into Blitz's head. A doorkeeper liamed Abeisoii interveiled to Capture the knife rind was stabbed in the thigh. . He is still crippled. A verdict of manslaughter was returned, and feolomon wfts sentenced to three years’ imprisonment.
