Three fine water-colour drawings by New Zealand's well-known landscape painter. John Gully, have been presented to the Wellington Academy b> members of the family - f the late Mr Robert Turnbull (Lady Leigh-Wood, sister, Mrs W. Thorburn, niece, and Mr Walter A. Hopkins nephew), now living in England. The pictures which were brought to New Zealand by J>: G. E. Anson in the Remnera. will bo huim in the permanent collection of the Yrt'Glallerv as a memorial to the late Mr Turnbull, who was for many years a subscribing member of the academy and a constant visitor mi its exhibitiottß
