Rain fell overnight, but the weather was fine by midday, and the cricket match, England v. Victoria, was resumed on a wet wicket, drying fast. England on Drying Wicket. Play was delayed for half an hour Then Woolley and Ilendren resumed for England, Ilendren hitting four off Hendry. Liddicut was unplayable. Woodfull at mid-on caiight Hendren, and Wallace was cheered for a magnificent catch when he ended the innings of Woolley, which had lasted 113 minutes. Whysall was uncomfortable.
