CASUALTIES.
SHOOTING ACCIDENT. By Telegraph—Press Association. ASHBURTON, June 30. Archibald Fenton, Methven, 22 years, was admitted to the hospital on Saturday suffering from a bullet wound in the right hand. The accident is said he have been due to a peai’ifle discharging accidentally while in the hands of Fenton’s friend.
TRAM FATALITY. By Telegraph—Press Association. DUNEDIN, June 30. The inquest was resumed on the bociy of Cyril Victor Herbert Kelly, aged five years, who was killed by a Morning ton cable car on June 16. Further evidence by passengers was given. The Coroner, giving a verdict of accidental death, stated that the accident probably occurred through the boy watchnig au up car and not noticing the down one.
FATAL RUNAWAY. By Telegraph—Press Association. DUNEDIN, June 30. John Kropp, who was .seriously injured by a runaway horse last Monday died in the hospital.
