WAIMATE.

| (From Our Own Correspondent.) WINTER SHOW. FINE EXHIBITION. The annual winter show under the auspices of the Waimate Poultry Association, was opened yesterday. Entries, with the excepyfon of those for cookery", were exceptionally good. During the evening Miss AVilceh orchestra added to the attractions 'by rendering a delightful programme of music. School exhibits came in for favourable comment, and were in some cases quite original. The arrangements, in the capable hands of Mr W. F. j George, Jett nothing to be desired, and the show is undoubtedly one of the best of its kind ever held in AVaiI mate. The following is the prize list: — POULTRY.
