PARKER 'DEFEATS HEENEY
MEETS ZIMMERMAN JULY 10TH
The Press Association agent at Hastings has not communicated the result of the contest for the middle-weight championship, held at Hastings ori Wednesday night between E. Parkei (holder) and Jack Heeney' (Gisbornej, but private advice received in Timarn states that the towel was thrown in from Heeney’s eorper in the eleventh round, the challenger' having received an injury' to an eye. Parker is expected in Timaru in a few days to finish "his preparation for the postponed meeting with the Can adian light-heavy' champion, F. Zimmerman, which is now scheduled to take place on July' 10th in the Theatre Royal.
