The Point to Point meeting of the Waunate .District Hunt was Held yesterday afternoon. Steady rain commenced about one o’clock, and by the time the first race commenced ' rain was falling heavily, making tho conditions most unpleasant. As tho afternoon progressed the ground became very greasy. There was a. good attendance, including visitors from all parts of South Canterbury and North Otago. The locality selected this year was °at Air Morris's farm, “Crouch,”which is about two miles from AVaimato township. A hill near tho homestead formed a natural grand-stand, from which onlookers had a clear view of every fence.
