NAPTHA EXPLODES.
DISASTER ON BRITISH FREIGHTER.

Five men are missing and eight seriously injured as the result °f explosion of naptha aboard the British freighter Egermont Castle at the clock. The vessel’s cargo consisted oi 100,000 gallons of the highest airplane gasolene, 100,000 gallons of naptha, and a large quantity of motor oil. The flames spread rapidly, thb hatches were battened down, and the vessel towed into the river and sunk.
