NOTES, The "Waikouaiti arrived from Lyttelton yesterday morning to discharge coal and'geherarcaTgo from Sydney. She will load grain and tallow for Sydney, arid will sail for that port direct to-morrow. The Athenic completed her loading here, yesterday; and sailed in the afternoon for Port Chalmers to continue loading for London. The" Opihi should arrive from Oamaru this morning, to load general produce for Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth, 'whither she will" Siiil this evening, via Lyttelton. The Storm is also due from Oamaru to-day to pick;_up tcargo for Lyttelton, Wellington, W an ganui and Picton. The collier Canopus lias been held up by bad weather , at Westport, and is not expected to reach this port before Saturday. She-.is .to. -discharge a part cargo of coal here, and . wifi subsequently proceed to Lyttelton. The Union Company expect the Kamona to arrive on Saturday from Dunedin, to load for Westport and Greymouth.

The Gale is due on Monday from Oamaru, to take in general produce for Wellington' and Wanganui, via Lyttelton. The Breeze will load for the same ports on .-Tuesday. The Flora--is-scheduled to call here on Wednesday en route from Dunedin; to pick up cargo for Lyttelton and Napier.' - The Jolih will load here early for Lyttelton, Wellington and Wanganui.
